Anthony Childs
You step into an antique shop that just opened in town. "Here's the radio you ordered" the proprietor says immediately. "All paid up." You've never been here. You didn't order a radio. A plastic transistor job made to look like old-timey shelf radios. He hands you a box of about 100 expired 9-volt batteries. "It'll only run on these, just like you specified". There's even a receipt, with your name, number and date of commission. Confused, you take it home, connect a battery, and turn it on.
